Ranging from the famed Khajuraho monuments, with their one of a kind sculptures to the swanky Buddhist development that is Sanchi and Gwalior’s Jai Vilas Palace which is a paradigm of varied European architecture, the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh, is a mixed bag of diverse structures.
The smaller towns and cities are keepers of inheritance, legacy and breathtaking views; whether it is Orchha’s quaint temples and palaces or Maheshwar’s panorama view of the Narmada River from its 16th century fort, each make for must visit spots.
