What would you say to a weekend getaway on Venus? Or a grand tour of Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune? Perhaps a trip to the geysers of Enceladus, the sixth largest moon of Saturn, to shake off the monotony of life on Earth? Contemplating interplanetary space travel might seem like wishful thinking (for now), but that hasn’t stopped NASA’s Exoplanet Travel Bureau from creating a clutch of snazzy travel posters to whet our appetites. To celebrate the anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope, we rounded up their beautiful advertisements:
The 14 posters—a mix of vintage and modern—were created by a team that works closely with NASA scientists and researchers to ensure authenticity. Visual strategist Dan Goods told CNN, “It was really important to us that we worked with the technical community to make sure what we were showing could someday happen.” They’ve certainly got us itching for space suits.
